The foundation awards grants four times a year to organizations that serve as catalysts for positive change in their communities. Organizations are eligible to receive one grant per year with a maximum grant amount of $10,000...

The 2024 third funding cycle grant recipients are as follows:

• Blessed to Give, Inc. - Dauphin County, PA
• Susan P. Byrnes Health Education Center, Inc. - York County, PA
• 18 South Youth Ministries, Inc. - York County, PA
• Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties – Cumberland County, PA & Perry County, PA
• New Bethany, Inc. - Northampton County, PA
• 18th Wonder Improvement Association – Berks County, PA
• Caitlin’s Smiles – Dauphin County, PA
• Parkland CARES Food Pantry – Lehigh County, PA
• Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley – Lehigh County, PA

Members 1st Federal Credit Union launched the foundation in 2021 to enhance the credit union’s community support. Since its inception, the foundation has invested $398,500 back into the communities of its 11-county footprint.
